For those fans of real time character studies, which the movie A SINGLE GIRL is one example I can toss at you, this film is an endless visual barrage of such character studies, most of a truly envelope-pushing kind. But STILL ORANGUTANS is primarily a portrait of Brazil itself and the city of Porto Alegre where it was shot. Full of energy and pathos, joy and grace, the main character, in the end, is a country rich with overlapping voices, each vying to be heard above the noise of the streets.

A única coisa que eu não gostei no filme foi o sotaque. e isso fora do "Brazil" não tem importância. Grande Spolidoro...
